Life Together

We are made to grow together.

In fact, we believe the best way we can grow together is through deep and meaningful relationships. Some churches have lists of programs to help you connect with others in the congregation. You won’t find much of that here. If you ask “how do I get involved,” we will likely point you to people, and we regularly encourage our members to connect with each other by living out the relational model of the New Testament church. With God's help, we are aiming to grow together in the following ways.

Attend Sunday Gatherings

We come together every Sunday to sing the word, hear the word, pray the word, preach the word, and see the word (through the Lord's Supper). This helps us to encourage each other to love God more deeply and care for one another. Come ready to hear from God’s word, and take time to connect with others afterward! Prayer

Regular prayer for one another is a key part of our life together. Some use our Membership Directory, pray in response to their daily scripture readings, or reach out with prayers through emails and texts. We also meet on the first Sunday of every month to pray for different requests within our church and around the world.

Discipleship

God has not made us to walk alone as we follow Christ, and we want to be a church where it's normal for us to help each other follow Jesus—growing, praying, learning, and holding one another accountable as a normal part of Christian life. This won't look the same for everyone, but it usually includes reading the Bible together, praying, spending time in conversation and discussing a good book together.

If you'd like some help with this, we've provided a resource for you below. If you're not a Christian and you simply want to begin by asking questions and seeking answers, text or email us and let us know. We'd love to connect you with someone.

Showing Hospitality

Hospitality isn’t just about having people over; it’s about really welcoming others into your life and doing life together. We are a diverse church, and it's normal to find people from every age group, life and background in each others homes, grabbing coffee together, celebrating birthdays and welcoming one another as Christ has welcomed us.

Volunteer / Serve

There plenty of ways to volunteer and serve with RCF. Serving allows us to love and edify others by using our gifts and sacrificing our time. If you’re a newcomer, the best way to serve initially is to simply come on Sundays and pursue membership at RCF. You can find out more about membership here.
